Our litigation and arbitration teams are active in commercial, civil and regulatory disputes of every size and nature. Our Counsels have extensive experience in criminal courts across the country for criminal prosecution as well as defense for criminally accused in various Courts in the country. The Firm has handled criminal prosecutions for crimes ranging from quasi-criminal cases to crimes relating to society.

Our Counsels lay special emphasis on planning the case, whether in litigation or arbitration, depending on the strength or weakness and the instructions of the Client. Clients are advised on the timing of negotiating settlement, settlement conditions and documentation thereof. In pursuing litigation, focus is on expediting favorable results by overcoming delays planned by the opposition through strategic methods. Having represented as Counsel and as arbitrators in numerous arbitrations and ADR procedures, we are able to provide advice on the comparative advantages, including costs, of conducting arbitrations under different set of rules and in different places. This enables Clients to make informed decisions on pursuing arbitration, other forms of dispute resolution or settlement.

Our Counsels have extensive experience in handling of labour related matters and have regularly been assisting and representing Clients before the applicable judicial and quasi-judicial authorities in respect of matters relating to the Contract Labour (Regulation and Abolition) Act 1970 and the Industrial Disputes Act, 1947 and the Rules and Regulations framed thereunder. Our services include negotiation, settlement between the management and the labour unions, opinion on various issues pertaining to labour matters and representing the management before the relevant courts.

We are actively engaged in arbitration in domestic and international forum and in other alternate dispute resolution processes.
